Founded by a group of engineers from the University of Illinois to bring advanced power electronics to the solar industry. SolarBridge quickly gained traction for its microinverter technology and changed ownership as the solar market evolved.

 

In 2025, SolarBridge Technology Inc. was established as a separate U.S.-based clean energy technology company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company focuses on the design, research, development, and manufacturing of solar inverters and integrated energy solutions serving commercial, industrial, and utility-scale renewable energy markets within the United States.​
